Standard de Liège is a professional football club based in Liège, Belgium, that competes in the Jupiler Pro League (first Belgian division). Founded in 1898, it has remained one of the most historical and popular clubs in Belgium, with one of the greatest national rankings (10 championships and 8 cups). Standard de Liège holds the record for the number of consecutive participations in Belgium’s 1st division: 101 years (since 1921). The team is led by Head Coach Ronny Deila.
