Jhoan Vargas joined 777 Partners in 2020. Prior to joining 777, he was an Analyst at MTS Health Partners in New York where he focused on M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to that, he worked at Global Healthcare Advisors, a middle market investment bank focused on buy-side M&A.

Jhoan has a B.S. in Finance and a second major in Risk Management from Florida State University.

Brandon Fryer joined 777 Partners in 2022. Prior to joining 777, Brandon was an Investment Banking Analyst at Intrepid Financial Partners in Houston, Texas where he focused on M&A, capital markets and restructuring transactions in the oil and gas industry. Brandon holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Jishnu Suriyakumaran joined 777 Partners in 2022 as their Investment Associate in London. Prior to 777 Partners, Jishnu has accumulated over 5 years of experience with M&A, Corporate Restructuring & Special Situations at organisations within the Investment Banking Industry, including PJT Partners and HSBC Global Banking & Markets. Jishnu is an alumnus of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and University College London where he respectively completed the General Management Program (GMP) and an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance (BEng Hons).

Juan Pablo joined 777 Partners in 2022. Prior to joining 777, he was an Associate at Comvest Partners, a middle market private equity firm, where he focused on all aspects of the investment process including originating, transaction execution and structuring, post-closing growth strategies and portfolio management. Prior to that, he worked in the Global Industrials Investment Banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.

Juan Pablo received a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Miami.

Tyler Pasko joined 777 Partners in 2020. Prior to joining the team full time, he held multiple intern positions at various 777 portfolio companies.

He has a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Economics and Political Science, having completed his junior year as an exchange student at the London School of Economics.

JC Mendoza brings +15 years of experience in high performing strategic finance and operational teams across a range of global banks, asset management, consulting, and private investment firms. He is currently the Chief of Staff for one of our firm’s Co-Founders & Managing Partners, serves as a strategic advisor and provides support on a range of operational decisions. In addition, JC oversees multiple corporate functions including HR, IT and Data Analytics, and is a member/participant on various of our portfolio company Boards. Prior to 777 Partners, JC served as the Head of Capital Planning for Deutsche Bank USA and its asset management unit DWS USA. As the Head of Capital Planning, he prepared both firms to successfully pass the Federal Reserve's arduous capital planning & stress test examination. He was responsible for developing the firm’s Capital Plan submitted annually to the Federal Reserve, assessing the firm’s Board and management oversight, business strategy, risk mitigation practices, macroeconomic scenario analysis, model development & projections, audit practices, and capital & liquidity planning; including setting capital policy for distributions to shareholders.

Jonathan Lutzky joined 777 Partners in 2021 as Operating Partner in Media and Entertainment. Prior to joining 777, he was General Counsel of Translation Enterprises, an independent marketing and technology company in New York, where he managed the legal operations of both Translation and their distribution arm, UnitedMasters. Previously, Jonathan served as the first General Counsel of VICE Media, leading a global legal department of over 50 lawyers across 10 business lines. Under VICE’s executive team, Jonathan raised more than $1B of investment yielding a $5B+ valuation for the company.

Jonathan holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School.

Don Dransfield joined 777 Partners in 2022 as the CEO of the Football Group. Prior to 777 Partners, Don accumulated 20 years experience across sport, media and private equity, first at Boston Consulting Group and more recently with Manchester City Football Club and City Football Group. Don holds a masters degree in economics from Trinity College, Cambridge University in England.

Andres Blazquez joined 777 Partners in 2020. Prior to joining 777, he was a Senior Advisor with Guggenheim Partners. Before that, he was the Founder and Managing Partner of Caucasus Capital Partners, one of the pioneer private equity investors in the Caucasus. He also was in charge of business development at Erlang Technologies, a US-based fabless semiconductors company and started his career with Accenture.

Mr. Blazquez has a B.A. in Physics from Kalamazoo College, a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis, and an MBA from INSEAD. Mr. Blazquez is the President and CEO of Genoa C.F.C. S.p.A., and sits on the boards of Fanatiz and Vasco da Gama SAF.
