Our People

  • Tyler Pasko joined 777 Partners in 2020. Prior to joining the team full time, he held multiple intern positions at various 777 portfolio companies.

    He has a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Economics and Political Science, having completed his junior year as an exchange student at the London School of Economics.

  • JC Mendoza brings +15 years of experience in high performing strategic finance and operational teams across a range of global banks, asset management, consulting, and private investment firms. He is currently the Chief of Staff for one of our firm’s Co-Founders & Managing Partners, serves as a strategic advisor and provides support on a range of operational decisions. In addition, JC oversees multiple corporate functions including HR, IT and Data Analytics, and is a member/participant on various of our portfolio company Boards. Prior to 777 Partners, JC served as the Head of Capital Planning for Deutsche Bank USA and its asset management unit DWS USA. As the Head of Capital Planning, he prepared both firms to successfully pass the Federal Reserve's arduous capital planning & stress test examination. He was responsible for developing the firm’s Capital Plan submitted annually to the Federal Reserve, assessing the firm’s Board and management oversight, business strategy, risk mitigation practices, macroeconomic scenario analysis, model development & projections, audit practices, and capital & liquidity planning; including setting capital policy for distributions to shareholders.

  • Jonathan Lutzky joined 777 Partners in 2021 as Operating Partner in Media and Entertainment. Prior to joining 777, he was General Counsel of Translation Enterprises, an independent marketing and technology company in New York, where he managed the legal operations of both Translation and their distribution arm, UnitedMasters. Previously, Jonathan served as the first General Counsel of VICE Media, leading a global legal department of over 50 lawyers across 10 business lines. Under VICE’s executive team, Jonathan raised more than $1B of investment yielding a $5B+ valuation for the company.

    Jonathan holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School.

  • Don Dransfield joined 777 Partners in 2022 as the CEO of the Football Group. Prior to 777 Partners, Don accumulated 20 years experience across sport, media and private equity, first at Boston Consulting Group and more recently with Manchester City Football Club and City Football Group. Don holds a masters degree in economics from Trinity College, Cambridge University in England.

  • Nicolas Maya joined 777 Partners in 2021. Prior to 777 Partners, Nicolas was an Associate Partner for McKinsey & Company in their Mexico City, New York and Charlotte offices.. During his time in McKinsey, Nicolas was part of the Transformation and Merger Management Practices, working across multiple industries in over 15 countries. Before joining McKinsey, he worked at a public policy consulting firm and at the Ministry of Defense of Colombia. Nicolas holds an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia

  • Harry Brian joined 777 Partners as a Senior Associate in their Sports, Media and Entertainment vertical. Prior to 777 Partners, Harry worked in strategy consulting supporting a wide range of public and private-sector organisations across the sports industry. Harry holds a First Class Honours in Economics with German from the University of Bristol.

  • Louis Rivera-Camino joined 777 Partners in 2020. Mr. Rivera-Camino primarily focuses on Investments in the Financial Insurance subsector, and brings over 27 years of relevant experience. Prior to joining 777 Partners, Mr. Rivera-Camino served as the founder of Abaco, the leading London-based hedge fund specialized in Global Financials, for over 17 years. Before that, he was sector head of Financials at ADIA, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he managed multi-billion-dollar pan-European sector funds from 1994 to 2003. Mr. Rivera-Camino began his career in corporate finance with Warner Lamber, the US-based Fortune 100 Pharmaceutical. He holds an MBA from LBS London Business School and executive training in Economics, Banking Management and Advance Finance (INSEAD).

  • Steve Walton added responsibility for 777 Asset Management to his 777 Re Chief Risk Officer role in 2021. Steve has held Business, Risk and Audit roles in Banking, Insurance and Asset Management. Prior to joining Steve held Interim CRO roles at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership and Intermediate Capital Group, having previously been the Group Head of Investment Oversight at Prudential plc and Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Deutsche Bank. Steve is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

  • Craig oversees the underwriting and monitoring of 777 Asset Management’s private credit investment portfolio. Prior to joining 777AM in September 2021, Craig was on the investment team at White Oak Global Advisors, focused on sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring opportunistic term loans across various industries. He separately spent significant time in White Oak’s restructuring group, working out existing portfolio investments and underwriting secondary trades. Craig started his career at Silicon Valley Bank. Craig received a Bachelors in Finance and Real Estate at The University of Georgia.
